Frequently Asked Question

If I’m registered to use TIMS but my supplier isn’t registered, how to I justify my purchases?

You need to worry about registering your sales to your customers, and if they are also a taxpayer, you have to issue them with B2B (business to business) invoices, bearing the buyer’s TIN. if your supplier is a TIMS registered taxpayer, they will also issue a B2B invoice to you, bearing your TIN as the buyer. If your supplier is not a TIMS registered taxpayer (for example, a farmer or craftsman selling their products) there is no requirement for you to have a TIMS fiscal invoice to justify your purchase.
