No, you don’t. However, you are advised to check if your supplier is aware of the changes required to obtain approval for an Accredited POS. Once the approval for your existing system is obtained, you are required only to connect SDC (E-SDC or V-SDC), and you have a complete EFD with minimum investment and without any change to your practice.
